Philadelphia’s favorite chef is now prepping for yet another great expansion in her business of cooking. Chef Delilah Winder is set to tape and host her own brand new cooking show – A Taste Of Gospel.

A Taste of Gospel is no ordinary cooking show. “A Taste of Gospel is going to be fun and about people really having a great food experience,” Chef Winder cheerfully states. The new show promises delicious southern-style cooking that Chef Winder is best known for and a twist. The show will feature Gospel and Christian music’s hotte st artists in the kitchen with Chef Winder whipping up mouth watering dishes. The most influential musical talents take time off the stage to join Chef Winder in preparing their favorite dishes while learning new and innovative ideas for tasty nutritional meals. Stir in informative and creative culinary expertise with a dash of entertaining and enlightening guests and you get the most exciting new cooking show of the season!

Southern Cooking is Chef Winder’s specialty. “The origin of southern food has always been of fresh ingredients and it’s about eating a well balanced meal,” Chef Winder explains. She emphasizes that southern cooking can be prepared healthy by using fresh products and a few sensible yet easy substitutes that she promises to share on the show.

Entertaining is a passion of Chef Winder, thus making a cooking show is an effortless venture. “I want people to embrace dinning. We’ve lost the fellowship of a meal,” she states passionately. “Having people over, preparing a meal and enjoying each other…this show is about gathering and bonding together in friendship.” Taping for A Taste of Gospel will begin in October in Nashville, TN. “A Taste of Gospel” will be taped at NorthStar Studios, 3201 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207 on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Shows will be taped at 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM

Chef Delilah Winder’s special guest in the kitchen will include Gospel music sensation Tye Tribbett, Grammy Award winner Regina Belle and Dove Award winning Christian/Latino vocalist Jaci Velasquez.

Come out and experience fresh southern style cooking, tasty healthy new dishes, see your favorite gospel artists in the kitchen and get a little nutrition for your soul!

• Audience members must be prepared to stay for 2 shows.
• Audience members should dress casual to semi casual (look nice for the camera!)
• Audience selection is first come first served. Open and free to the public by registration/confirmation only. Access to NorthStar Studios is secured.
